What happens if you stay in a hotel and say that only 2 people are there but 3 are?We are taking a trip and there are 3 of us that need a total of 2 beds – it is much cheaper if you say there are only 2 people — how can they really know if a third one is staying too? In a large hotel I think it is hard to keep track of everyone and no one would notice – there are still 2 beds in there…Couldn't we just say the last person joined us last minute long after the reservation was made and we didn't think about it? What could/would happen? Anyone deal with this before??

I dont know if you've tried it before but kayak.com searches pretty much all the mainstream ticketing websites.
I also want to travel everywhere and have done my research.
Ive found that sometimes when you try and find plane tickets from the country you want to visit instead from a U.S. based ticketing place, that its sometimes cheaper. usually the case in third world countries. For example. i plan on going to Kathmandu in Nepal. i looked on some websites that serve people in Nepal and BOOM, found roundtrip tickets 200 dollars cheaper. its very hard to find and kayak is your best bet.

Hostels are places where, for very VERY cheap prices you can sleep. Theres bad rumors about them, but all in all there usually pretty nice. that site has lists of hostels everywhere in the world. (4 dollars a night in Lhasa, Tibet!!!) the down side is usually you share a room with someone but, really, look up more info on them and you find there very safe.

I would suggest trying Southwest.com. they are generally the cheapest and they don't work with any of the online travel agents like travelocity, or expedia. I would suggest a flight from denver to Las Vegas if you are trying to save money.. if you dont gamble its a pretty cheap place to stay and eat and theres a lot of free shows and stuff to see out on the strip.

you'd have to give more information than that for a good answer… the fact is that dirt cheap deals are very hard to come by these days. Used to be you could find them anywhere if you just kept looking, but not anymore. A good website is airfarewatchdog.com – they will keep you updated on good air fare from your departure city to a huge list of cities. They dont do packages though, from what I have seen.
