You can find some decent last minute deals out there but the real benefit of booking last minute is that you can go where the snow is.
If there's only two people going, you're much better off just booking last minute in my experience.

My advice is to go after her. Find out where she lives or where she might be and tell her how you feel. You know like in the movies guys follow the girl and confess how they feel, i know, life isn't a movie, but it isn't a movie because you don't want to make it that way. it seems there may be two reasons about her behavior.
1st
her friends told her she acted hastily and shouldn't have showed an "easy" attitude to you so soon, so she backed up a bit but also showing you her interest with her staring.
2nd
she is trying you, and you must show her that you are willing to persist on her, by asking her out saying something like that:
Hi, we haven't talked for a while. I have some tickets for the cinema, wanna join me?
then try to make out after the date and see what happens.
I believe this girl is indeed very interested in you, based on how you describe her reactions, so i would go for it if i were you.

Here's your answer: man up & ask her out. She already made the first move, so now it is your turn to go & talk to her & ask her out. By you not making a move on her, you are giving her the impression that you aren't interested in her.
Sitting around on your butt waiting for her to make another move will not impress her. If anything, it'll irritate her & make her less likely to respond to you. It'll make her think that she'll have to push you into doing everything in the relationship which gets REALLY old REALLY fast. Trust me on this. I've lost interest in guys because they were too slow to respond when I let them know that I liked them.
By not responding to her or calling her to set up another date, you are essentially telling her that you don't find her attractive enough to date. It may not be the truth, but right now you are the only one standing in the way of your own happiness. If you lose this chance at a relationship with her, it's your own dang fault- nobody elses!
I mean, if you can't talk to her to tell her that you want to set a date for the one that was missed, how do you expect to have a successful relationship? Without good & constant communication there can't be a relationship!
