Help answer the question about last minute hotel deals new
UH OH!!! HELP PLEASAE!!!!! Last minute deal!!!?I know Valentines is tomorrow BUT I was going to celebrate it this weekend coming up and rent a small cabin for just me and my man and do the whole dinner and decoration thing. BUT he just called me and said his parents already invited us to go to Vegas with them and that everything is paid for and he really wants to go because you couldnt get a better deal (which he is right) BUT I have bought all this stuff already for this weekend coming up. Does anyone have ANY ideas for what I can do??? Should I rent a hotel room near the house so we can still have our alone time??? This just totally threw me off!
I would love to do that in Vegas BUT we are sharing a room with his parents. Uuugghhh. And I did kind of buy a lot of stuff. I guess I could always do it the weekend after.
Nope not married. And they are not trying to come between us its was just one of the last minute phone calls. No one knows of my plans
Twinkie & Leesa…Get a life seriously! I am not concerned about that right now!

Sounds like you are doing OK. Other ideas are:
Cut down water wastage – don't leave tap running when brushing teeth. Same applies to shower.
Use timer for hot water immersion. Mine is set for one hour twice a day. I don't need to have constant hot water during the hours I am out.
Cook several meals at once. It takes less power to reheat or microwave later.
See if you can delay your weekly shop by one day. In theory, by the 7th day, you should have a week's spending money in hand.
Defer haircuts for an extra week or two, or grow hair long. Use face flannel to mop up excess water drops from body after shower, or from hair after washing. Towel stays almost dry, needs less laundering.
Dry laundry on clothes horse indoors or on clothesline in open air

Well it sounds like yall both put it as much effort as possible to make this situation better. She will wake up one day and realize what she lost. Yes it is a shame there not closer but it seems like it causes more friction with her in the picture. Maybe with time things will get better. In the mean time just bare with the situation.

Good to see this topic coming the light. Do yourself another favor, before getting a puppy – do some research. It is extremely sad for the puppy to be given up just because you chose the wrong breed. Many people don't want large or giant breed dogs. But Newfoundlands, Great Pyrenees, Saint Bernards, Bernese Mountain Dogs and others are absolutely adorable beyond words when they are puppies. But they are going to group up to be BIG Dogs. I have seen alot of 4 month old giant breed puppies up for adoption either by the buyers, or local shelters. I have 2 Giant Breeds myself, but I knew what I was getting BEFORE I got them. This way they are happy and I am happy.
Don't underestimate a mixed breed or "mutt" as some people call them. I've had three mixed breeds, two German Shepard/Lab mixes and an Akita/Lab mix. All of them are smart, playful, loving, and wonderful dogs. I wouldn't give these dogs up for anything (not even huge amounts of cash!). Mix breeds often are healthier and fun fewer risks of those ailments particular to one breed. Always have your mixed breed puppy examined by a Vet as soon as possible to head off any problems (because most of them are from backyard or accidental pregnancies). Better to start off healthy and nip any problems in the bud as soon as possible.
Knowing what kind of dog you want, what size of the dog you want, what kind of temperment the dog you want has, and the environment in which you will raise this dog (what are the dog's needs), and being able to answer these questions before you get that cute and irresistable puppy, will ensure many years of love and happiness in your home.
When one takes in a puppy, kitten or other animal to be admitted to the family, it is a sacred trust – for every life is a treasure, precious and special. Thanks!

Look let me make this simple, your family has no right to tell you that you made a mistake or to make you feel guilty for what you have decided was best. That's between you & your husband. Family's & Friends are so bad to make comments just because they dont agree. You thought this was best for your kids & I agree with you. Don't stress about it, just enjoy your life!!

I'm so sorry to hear that..
You sound like a wonderful girl..
I think he took you for granted and By that you just wrote making excuses just to leave you..
it's obvious he was finding away out and played his way out..
He said he wanted you in his life when suggested that it was time to break up but things then probably seemed simpler for him and not you..
You should move on and just put that all behind you
the right guy will come along sooner or later just keep you're head up sweetie there's plenty of fish in the water =)….
Hope i helped.. xx

As you knew, it's a scam. No Fortune 500 company is going to recruit on line, and no legitimate business or employer wants you to send them checks from a personal account. Put them in your junk or block file and report the return address to your server, or at least mark it as a "phishing scam" when you delete it.
